Meet the Owner & Founder of Summit Studio-- Gioia! 

Gioia is originally from Tampa, Florida, where she was a competition kid and a four year member/two year Captain of her high school dance team. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in business and dance and was on various hip hop crews throughout college. Back-up dancing kick-started her career as she took the stage with Michael Franti & Spearhead, Chingy, and local Florida artists. 

She continued her professional career by cheering for the Denver Broncos for five seasons, including two seasons as team captain. After cheering the Broncos on to the Super Bowl 50 victory and being selected to represent the team at the 2019 Pro Bowl, she turned her focus to instilling a love for dance in the next generation.

Choreography and coaching credits include Global Field Day on FOX Sports, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders (gameday, auditions, and promotional materials), Colorado State Golden Poms Gameday Nationals, Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders & Denver Broncos All Stars, ChoreoWire, Shelly True Dance Academy competitive team, Cherry Creek Dance Studio performance team, UCF Dance Department, Knights & Damsels Dance Co., and Rukus Ent.

Amy grew up in Aspen immersed and dedicated to everything the local dance world had to offer. She danced with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet in high school and taught ballet throughout her 20s. She has a BA in Psychology, a Masters in Spiritual Science and has taught yoga and yoga teacher trainings for over 13 years. Professionally, Amy is a trauma-informed embodiment and energy coach and is committed to teaching people of all walks of life the power inherent in our bodies. Movement is medicine.

Jana grew up in Colorado dancing in studio, primarily. Jana competed at conventions like NYCDA, WCDE, Monsters, and has learned from renowned choreographers like Brian Friedman, Tyce Diorio, Mia Michaels, and more. After high school Jana set her sights on dance team performance and spent 2 years with the Outlaws, 3 years with the Nuggets, and 2 years with the Denver Broncos ending with a Super Bowl victory. Jana also successfully coached the Denver East Angels for 8 years bringing them many impressive placements and regional championships. Most recently, Jana owns Choreography Wire, a one stop, online shop for dance teams. Jana also has two young children and lives in the metro area!

Hailey grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she began studying at Main Stage Ballet Company, as well as competitive dancing and cheering at Champion Legacy starting at the age of six.  She went onto winning several National and Dance World titles, including a bronze medal in International Hip Hop and Senior Pom.  After graduating high school, Hailey went onto the University of Nebraska- Lincoln earning a degree in Nutrition, Exercise and Health Science and cheering on the Husker Spirit Squad.  Hailey moved to Denver, CO in 2015 following college to continue her education in Physical Therapy and pursuing a dance career.  She danced for the Denver Nuggets and is currently in her 6th season as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader.  When not dancing, Hailey works as a Physical Therapist Assistant/Director of Rehabilitation and loves teaching and assisting at studios around Denver in her free time!

Originally from Lawrence, KS, Berkleigh has been competitively dancing and training since age 3. She went on to dance as a Rock Chalk Dancer at the University of Kansas, where she was featured as Sports Illustrated Cheerleader of the Month. While at KU, Berkleigh earned her degrees in Strategic Communications, Business, and Psychology. Berkleigh currently works as a Technical Account Manager at Oracle while in her 4th year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. Berkleigh was the 2018 Calendar Cover Girl, and has had the opportunity of representing the Broncos overseas. Berkleigh has worked with several local dance academies in both Kansas and Colorado, and looks forward to working with you!
